What is IT procurement?

IT procurement is the buying of technology for your business: hardware, software and services. Fast Response IT handles this for small and medium businesses so that you buy what you need, and it works with the systems you already have.

A good purchase also covers warranty, delivery, setup and disposal of old equipment, which are easy to overlook when buying online.

What can Fast Response IT supply?

We source servers, switches, laptops and desktops from all major brands. We also supply network equipment, including UniFi, Cisco, Aruba and Juniper, and phone hardware through our business phone system.

Everything is checked against your existing systems before ordering, so you do not find out on delivery that a device will not suit your network.

Why buy through your IT provider?

Buying hardware is easy. Buying the right hardware for your environment is harder. When the same team supports your systems, equipment is specified with your network, security and support needs in mind. It can be set up and added to monitoring from day one, which saves your staff comparing models and suppliers.

We also keep an asset record of what you own, the warranty end date and who uses each device. That makes budgeting and insurance claims simpler, and it helps when staff leave and devices need to be wiped and reissued.

Can you help refresh ageing equipment?

Yes. A refresh can reduce failures and support costs, control obsolescence and give your team better performance. We plan it with you so spending is staged and the changeover causes little disruption.

Old devices can be wiped securely and retired once data has moved across.

What should I think about before buying?
  • What does each person do on their device?
  • Will it work with your network, security tools and cloud services?
  • How long will you keep it, and who will support it?
  • Do you need everything at once, or in stages?
How much does IT procurement cost?

Hardware is priced at the time of purchase. Support for it is offered as fixed service plans, prepaid hours or ad-hoc support, and the price depends on how many users you have and what is covered. User licensing is included in our managed plans.

Where do you supply and support equipment?

We cover Western Sydney, Northern Sydney and the Central Coast. Support is remote, with on-site visits across all three areas.

Use the IT cost check or book a conversation. Larger buys fit into IT projects, and a vCIO can plan spend ahead.

To see how this fits your business, take the IT health check or book a conversation. Nothing is locked in at that stage, and you will get plain answers from people who will actually do the work.

Questions we get asked

What IT equipment can Fast Response IT supply?

We supply servers, switches, laptops and desktops from all major brands, plus network equipment and phone hardware. We recommend equipment based on how your staff work and what your systems need. We also recommend accessories and licences that go with each device. We can also supply software licences where they are not already included in your plan.

Do you set up the equipment as well as supply it?

Yes. We configure devices, install them, add them to monitoring and security, and move user data across. Staff receive a working device and not a box to unpack. We also arrange warranty, asset records and secure disposal of old devices. Setup is done before delivery where possible, so your staff are productive sooner.

Can you help plan a hardware refresh?

Yes. We review the age and condition of what you have, flag items near end of life and stage replacements across budgets. This avoids a large, sudden bill. Spreading spend over several periods also helps with cash flow. Staged replacements are easier to plan and to explain to your owners or board.

How much does IT procurement cost?

Hardware is priced at the time of purchase. Support is offered as fixed service plans, prepaid hours or ad-hoc support, and the price depends on how many users you have and what is covered. We explain how it is built. Hardware quotes show the price per item. We also link spending to your wider budget.
